Provides A New Level of Flexibility and Ease of Use with Powerful Policy Management
ASIS International 2011, Orlando, Florida – September 19, 2011 – RedCloud, formally known as PlaSec, today announced the general availability of its RedCloud Security Management Software 3.0, the latest release of the industry's most innovative physical access control system that seamlessly integrates with IT and logical security systems to deliver a new standard in performance, scalability and efficiency.
RedCloud Security Management Software delivers the ease-of-use demanded by facility managers and the flexibility required by IT departments and is accessible via a 100 percent browser-based web application. In one consolidated screen that is accessible anytime, from anywhere, administrators can view and manage alarms, video surveillance, facility maps, and identities, including photo and ID details.
The latest release of RedCloud Security Management Software improves the management of access control policies across complex enterprise environments. Through data partitioning, RedCloud gives administrators the flexibility to configure multiple, unique sub-systems all under the hierarchy of the main system. With enhanced graphical map support, organizations now have real-time visibility of alarms within the floor plan for faster response time. Advanced global input/output ensures efficient threat responses by allowing emergency responders access and temporarily suspending access typically provided to users. RedCloud Security Management Software also provides the capability to quickly delete a large batch of identities, raises visibility of high priority alarms through color coding and enables the delivery of pre-defined procedures for responding to an active alarm.
