PlaSec Continues Acquisition of Key Management Talent
Terry Vellek joins as VP of Business Development
Jeff Ross joins as Director of Product Management
ISC West Show, Las Vegas, Nevada, March 23, 2010 - PlaSec today announced the recent hiring of two key, additional management team members. Terry Vellek was announced as Vice President of Business Development while Jeff Ross was introduced as Director of Product Management.
Terry Vellek has spent over 30 years in IT and security service &sales roles ranging from in-field management to senior leadership covering North America. Terry's experience from long term posts at Digital Equipment Corporation and Lenel Systems International has provided him with a framework of capabilities well suited to take on his new role at PlaSec. Terry's prime objective is to build trusted and profitable relationships with western US VARs, consultants, and alliance partners. In addition, he is chartered to help develop prospective system user's interest in PlaSec Products.
Jeff Ross, as Lenel's first employee fil ing product management, marketing, sales, training, and many other roles, brings a wealth of no–nonsense knowledge and process leadership to PlaSec. In his role, Jeff wil be concentrating on improving the ongoing evolution of product commercialization at PlaSec. His focus wil be directed towards driving new features, developing a long term product roadmap, representing the voice of the customer, and driving customer productivity &profitability.
