Partnership centers on integration with the exacqVision line of digital video servers
ASIS, Dallas, TX, October 12, 2010 - PlaSec today announced the integration of its PlaSec Access Appliance Product Family with the exacqVision line of digital video servers from Exacq Technologies, thus expanding the portfolio offering of the world's first PhysiLogical access control system. The integration offering is available with the newly launched PlaSec Access Appliance 2.5 being debuted at the ASIS 56 th Annual Seminars and Exhibits in Dallas, TX.

PlaSec's digital video integration integrates the exacqVision line of digital video servers with the Monitoring component of the PlaSec Access Appliance. Functionality includes:
- Any alarm or event in the PlaSec System can be associated with a digital video clip from an exacqVision server
- PTZ control of cameras from PlaSec Monitoring
- View live or recorded video from an exacqVision Server inside PlaSec Monitoring
- Multi-Camera device association that allows multiple cameras to be assigned to a single access component, such as a door
- Advanced playback control
- Matrix view for camera display
PlaSec Access Appliance 2.5, including the integration with exacqVision digital video servers, will be commercially available through PlaSec's network of Value Added Resellers with a projected ship date in late October.
